First, verify that the eSIM has been successfully installed. If the eSIM is installed but shows No Service, please perform the following steps and try to connect after each action:
- Make sure roaming is enabled in the settings.
- Turn off Wi-Fi and restart the device.
- Turn off LTE mode/toggle down to 3G and restart the device.
- Switch to manual network selection and try them one by one, restarting after each one.
- Remove the physical SIM for a few minutes and try to initiate a connection using a browser, for example.
- Make sure that you have not added a phone number to their eSIM.
Please note that on iOS devices, the networks in the manual network selection may all be called DENT, but they are all individual networks. For information on which networks are supported where, please refer to the eSIM countries x operators x 4G support table. This table shows 2 different types of eSIM profiles: Old eSIM profiles and new eSIM profiles. Most countries will get a new eSIM profile by default and only a few countries will get the old type (old only refers to the eSIM provider we used before the new one, but they both still work). So, if a profile belongs to the left or right column by the prefix of the IMSI: if it starts with 26001…. it is a new eSIM profile, if it has any other prefix it is an old eSIM profile.
Please note that the profile given depends on the country you were in when you first requested a profile. It will not change if you travel between countries.
