How to get your free eSIM

To get your free eSIM card, simply download the latest version of the In the Air app and book or track an international trip in the app. You will then be prompted to activate your eSIM in the Trips menu and follow the steps below.

Easy activation process

It's incredibly easy to activate your mobile eSim card on App in the Air. It can be done in just a few simple steps. Once you have downloaded the latest version of App in the Air, you can activate your eSim card by following the on-screen prompts.

Step 1: Book or Track an International Trip on App in the Air

Once an international trip is added to your itinerary on App in the Air, the app will automatically prompt you to "Get a Worldwide Data Package" in the Trips screen when App in the Air is active.

Step 2: Select your data plan

First time users of the new eSim feature will receive 250MB free for the first 7 days. If this offer is available to you, you can try out the feature by selecting this offer. Other paid data packages are available for returning eSim customers. Choose the one that suits your needs.

Step 3: Pay & Install in minutes

Once payment has been made, the app will automate the installation process. During this part it's important to keep the app open. Do not close the app or go to another screen before the eSim is fully installed.

Step 4: Activate & Enjoy

Activating the eSim is a simple tap on the big blue button. Once this is done, you can start using your data right away. You can use your eSim card for data, calls, and texts just like a traditional SIM card in your phone.
