Note: The iCloud connection is for friends who also use the App in the Air and sync data on all iOS devices. If you want to import a flight from iCloud email, connect it via the IMAP option.
When you connect to iCloud, you may see an error in the app settings that says "…you need to enable "iCloud Drive" and check the app's access to the "Look for me by email…" option. This is necessary in order to show on the leaderboard your friends who also use the "In the Air" app.
To resolve this error, you need to check the settings on the device itself and on your Mac (if you have one).
Device settings:
Open the device settings and select your Apple ID at the top.
Open iCloud.
Scroll down a bit and check that iCloud Drive is enabled.
Then scroll to the bottom of the page and open the "Look Me Up" option.
Turn it on the App in the Air.
Mac computer settings:
Open System Preferences and click the Apple ID icon.
At the top, next to iCloud Drive, click Options.
Select the "Look Me Up By Email" tab.
Enable for "com.apple.preferences.icloud.remoteservice".
Save the changes (the "Done" button).
