If you have problems connecting through your Yandex account, follow these steps:
- If two-factor authentication is enabled (and even if you have disabled it for third-party apps), you need to get specific passwords - you can do this under "App passwords" on https://passport.yandex.ru/profile/.
NOTE: Application passwords are required even if two-factor authentication is already disabled.
- The password is required for the "Mail (POP3/IMAP, SMTP)" application.
- Note that you have to enter a password in the IMAP settings.
