Sometimes you cannot log in to our app through your Google account.
The Android part of our app is logged in through Google Play Services, which we have no control over. Google cares about the security of its users, and you will go through an authentication process when you log in. For some reason, you can't go through them in our app.
There are several reasons for this:
- Your device is set to the wrong time zone. Check the time settings on your device. If the time is set incorrectly compared to your location, this may be the problem.
- You do not have the latest version of Google Play Services installed. Please follow this link from your device: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.gms&hl=en and check if you have the latest update.
- You have a rooted operating system. Google may perceive this as a security risk to its users.
After you've done all of the above and are still having trouble logging in through your Google Account, contact a support representative at support@appintheair.com.
