App in the Air for Business: Hotels

If you need to book a hotel with App in the Air for Business, please follow this article.

To select a hotel, switch to the Hotels tab.

Above the search form, you can select the currency, from the list. Click Save and the search parameters will be saved.

Select Special rates to get a special rate from the hotel. We support Lowest Regular Rate, Member rates, AAA/CAA, Senior Discount, Government & Military.

Enter a city name or hotel name in the search field. Also, select the check-in date and check-out date below.

Click the Search button to start the search.

You will see the search results updated in real-time, picking the best option for your conditions. So wait until the blue bar at the top of the screen finishes moving - that means your search is complete, and you see all the results.

A map will open at the top of the screen (Android) or by clicking on the Map button at the bottom (iOS). You can select a hotel on it. Clicking on the number below the map will open the selected hotel in the search results.

If you have Android, at the top right above the map, you can select different icons - search, filters, sorting. Click on the "List" button at the bottom (iOS) if you want to switch to the list of the hotels

Search. By clicking on the icon with the magnifying glass (Android) or tapping on the search field (iOS), you can search for the name of the hotel in the search results. Or you can initiate a new search.

Filters. You can use filters to select the best option among all found hotels:

• Stars. Select whether the hotel should have 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 star.
• Price display type. Choose how you would like to see the price displayed in the search results. You can select Total (total price for all dates) or Per night (price for each night of stay).
• Price. Specify a price ceiling up to which you would like the search results to appear.
• Amenities. Select your room amenities - Breakfast included, Free high-speed internet connection, Restaurant, Fitness center, Free parking, High-speed internet access, Health and beauty services, Business center, Pets allowed.
• Hotel type. Select the best hotel type for your stay - Apartments, Hotels, Motels. By clicking on "Show all", you will see all options, including resorts.

• Rating. By clicking on this filter, you can select hotels with guest ratings from 2 to 10 on a 10-point scale.
• Chains. Select the hotel by the chain you prefer the most. By clicking on Show all, you will see all options.
• Distance from downtown. Select how far away the hotel may be from the city center where you will be staying.

Click on the arrow at the top left (or X), and the selected filters will be applied to your search.

Sorting. You can select different ways of sorting information that will be applied to the search - Price Low to High, Price High to Low, Recommended, Stars, Distance.

Below the map, there are quick filters (Android only) that you can use to select the best option:

• Star 3-5. By clicking on it, you will see only hotels from three to five stars in the search.
• Free parking. Select hotels with free parking only.
• Fitness center. If you need to exercise, tick the filter. And you will see hotels with a fitness center.
• Rating: 7-10. By clicking on this filter, you will only see hotels with maximum ratings from guests.

In the search results, click on the photo of the hotel, and a card with its details will open. Here you can flip through the photos, looking at the hotel and room from the inside. You can also see the name of the hotel, how many stars it has, and how far it is from the city center.

In the Rooms section, you can choose one of the accommodation options in the hotel, according to your search and applied filters. Also, here you can see if the rate is refundable or not, if breakfast is included or not, what is the total cost with taxes, and so on.

In Reviews, you can read reviews and feedback from guests who have stayed in the hotel before. We get them from various sources so that they are objective and help you make your choice.

In the Amenities section, you can see the list of services the hotel has for you.

Under About, you can find more information about the hotel. Hotel info will tell you details about the hotel, including the chain it belongs to. The address will show on the map exactly where the hotel is located. Clicking on the map will open the map application, so you can see the location of the hotel at the required point in the city. Additional info will show you instructions on how to check in when you arrive at the hotel. You can also see the time of check-in and check-out.

After selecting the appropriate option in the Rooms section, click on it. A page opens with details of the hotel, as well as with all the conditions that were previously selected, and which apply to your booking. You can also read the terms and conditions here. This will open the purchase page. Here you need to fill in your travel information:

Guest information. Clicking on a guest, or selecting Add info, will open a page with added guest information (if this has not been done before).

• First name. Specify the passenger's name.
• Middle name. Specify the passenger's middle name, if any.
• Last name. Specify the passenger's last name.
• Gender. Specify the passenger's gender - Male or Female. Cannot be blank.
• Birth date. Enter the passenger's date of birth. Cannot be blank.
• Email. Specify the passenger's email address where the airline can contact him/her in case of need.
• Phone number (including country code). This field cannot be blank. Specify the passenger's phone number including country code (for example +18002223322) which the airline can contact him/her if necessary.

Press Done and the data will be applied to the passenger. All the information is stored on the device only.

Payment method. Select a payment method. Here you must enter the card number, expiration date (MM/YYY), and the name of the cardholder. Click Save and the data will be saved. All information is only stored on the device.

In the future, you can add several cards here and choose the one you want each time.

Additional will show you check-in instructions when you arrive at the hotel. You can also see the time of check-in and check-out.

Price details. Here you can see the full hotel details: how many rooms, how many nights, the price per night, taxes, and the name of the guest.

In the Total field, you will see the total amount that will be deducted from your credit card for the chosen hotel. Please check the name of the guest here!

Click the Confirm and pay (or Reserve) button to make the payment for the hotel. Confirmation of the room reservation will be sent to the specified e-mail address.
